HELP!!
Been trying to code my new mirrors to fold with the switch for 2 weeks using esys. not able to add to fa list and cant seem to find any help anywhere. PLZ HELP ME

Do they fold with the keyfob or don't fold at all?

Yes they fold with fob driver side was plug and play had to change wires on passenger side. But new switch with button does not fold them, I no they need coding but am completely stuck.

Have you added the option to the VO and default coded the required modules?

I can’t add Salapa element receive and error code when I try to active fa after adding.

What wires were changed for passenger side to work?

Esys, added code to FA and button works now. Just waiting for passenger mirror and correct solution

I was unable to edit the fa using esys, so I brought bimmergeeks protool as you can search in English and it translates so u can find what you need. I had to enable power mirror, mirror tilt and check box in I drive to get the fold when locking. Do you want a description of wiring?

Yes please to the wiring. Passenger mirror is due this week and would like to get it sorted.

I added 4T8 to fa and coded bdc and button worked then. Prior to that button did nothing but was able to fold mirror with remote. I don’t have option in idrive yet but once passenger one sorted I’ll do a software update.

All the wiring is done on the wires going into switch on drivers side. I had to remove black pin holder from inside white clip which slot into switch, there are 12 pin slots but only 9 wires. I then removed pins 7,8 and 9 which are the wires for passenger side which are now redundant after replacing switch, cut off pins then used scotch clip to connect them to the wires 1,2 and 10.
Pin 1-red+green to pin 9-blue+brown
Pin 2-white+brown to pin 8-blue+green
Pin 10-blue+brown to pin 7-blue+black

All done and working, thanks for the help everyone

Removed pins from standard switch panel and then soldered to bridge the pins

Coded comfort close so mirrors fold as soon as lock button is pressed, just couldn’t get passenger dip on reverse to work

Also need to work out how to remove remove caps so I can swap mine onto them

Mirror position switch on the door needs to be pushed towards the driver side in order to get the pass side mirror to dip. Make sure it's in the proper position

Haha, turned out you were right…I had switch in wrong position

Just need to work out how to remove glass so I can swap my mirror caps over
