Defined as "Microscopic slippage of contact surface interface between inner brake disc and wheel bearing flange on vehicles equipped with lightweight brake disc". The friction ring goes between the wheel bearing flange and the inner side of the brake disc hat. |

Ho Lee Schmidt, I just did this to my car and it cut it down by around 90%. It's a bit ridiculous something so simple fixed an issue plaguing so many. I think I might put a layer of Aluminum tape on the hubcentric shaft to be a slightly more permanent fix than elastic tape.

i remove the rubber of my hubs, only 4 friction discs and it's okay
but you have to center the wheel perfeclty! one bolt at 12 am and tight by hand the maximum, and shake the wheel to adjust, then the other bolt by hand, and then tight with the cross by hand, and finally the torque wrench 140nm ( if possible when the wheel are suspended in air) |

Would this not work on its own without the need for the friction disks?
My current G31 is vibration free, but my old G30 had vibrations with 2 different sets of wheels and tyres. I was going to change the wheels on my current G31 to something more to my taste, however I don't want to risk gaining vibrations when currently I have none! |
