Interior creaking & groaning on smooth roads
Over the last few weeks I've noticed persistent creaking & groaning sounds coming from the interior. They're very difficult to localize but it really sounds like the doors. It tends to be loudest and most common while the windows are all rolled up, and putting my hands on the door panels (pressing, bracing, smacking on them) doesn't stop the sound.
It's like a milder version of the creaking you tend to hear when you go over rough pavement, except this stuff you can hear almost all the time, even on smooth pavement. My dad was in the car yesterday and noticed it too, and joked, "maybe you've twisted the chassis from autocross and track time". Part of me thinks there might be a hint of truth in it. Any ideas? Car has BMW EVP but $100 deductible. Would rather not waste the $100 to have them say "we don't know" or "that's normal" (it's not).

Actually yes, I do it twice a year. It's been a while since I did it though.
