As my warranty is drawing to a close, I decided to contact Pacific BMW to price an extended vehicle protection plan as several forum members raved about their competitive pricing. Unfortunately for out of state (non-CA residents), they require an on site vehicle inspection prior to selling a warranty plan. Just wanted to give other non California forum members a heads up before contacting Pacific BMW for extended warranty pricing.

pacific bmw is very shady, i would not deal with them.
my girlfriend bought her 335d from them just this last year. they act professional when trying to sell you something, but after you buy, they won't return your calls or emails if you have a problem or conflict. i have called their main number during business hours several times without someone answering. for what its worth, this was our problem; the 335d had a front license plate bracket. when taking off the plate to put on a painted frame, we found that one of the screw holes on the bracket was stripped, and was about to fall off. when we took off the license plate bracket its self, we found six (6) holes from several botched bracket installation attempts. it took us several weeks of attempting phone calls to our salesman and upper management to get a hold of someone for a new front plate bracket. after we left an unsatisfactory review with BMW NA, the dealership contacted us and asked us what they needed to do to make this right. i suggested a patch and paint of the front bumper holes and they agreed. this whole hassle spanned over a few months, and they eventually made it right, but if i knew it would have been this big of a hassle, i would not have bought from them. pacific bmw in glendale operates like a mafia. anyone who has been there will tell you the same thing.
