New Owner!

Just bought a '13 e92 m3. DCT, ZPP, ZCP and premium sound. Loving it so far. These forums are great btw. Thanks for all the info - really helped me in getting this done.

Here are some pics...

Congrats on the new ride. Space gray looks great with ZCP wheels.

Nice. How many miles? What are you planning for mods?

approx 13k. Not planning any for now. First expense will be picking up some winter tires. Going to swap out the orange reflectors up front and maybe remove the rear spoiler. I'll think about mods down the road.

Mine has rear only tint as well. Thinking of removing it as it looks somewhat off when the whole car isn't tinted.

I hear you. Depending on the light/angle the rear tint is sometimes really pronounced (like in the above pictures).

Very good looking car. Why remove the rear spoiler though?

That is a heck of a sexy car -- very well done. The comp wheels and the grey -- really classy.

Cuz I find it surprising how dealers are charging 60-70k for used M3's when the 2015 model can be bought for low to mid 60's.

Very nice ride. I assume front tint is illegal where you are at. Same here but I wound up doing light transmission of 30% rear and 50% front to make the contrast between the two more subtle and minimize the chance for a ticket. So far so good. My tint installer suggested the 50% as you are still visible hence the chance for a ticket is less and per him has never had a client ticketed.

Can you link me to a variety of new M4s that are low to mid 60s? Just searched on autotrader and cheapest was right under $72k and it was missing options. I know a couple people who would buy if they could get a new M4 in the low 60s.

This 2013 M3 probably had a MSRP for around the mid 70s so 60k isn't really that bad for a 1 year old car depending on mileage and what not. Also, people like myself don't mind paying a little more to get one of the last V8 M3s since the M4 doesn't really interest me right now. All personal preference.
