Budget? You can add a tune, DCT update (if you have DCT), intake, exhaust... All the way up to super charging.

What kind of tune? Any suggestions on which intake and exhaust?

Start searching/digging through this forum...

http://www.m3post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=124

There a number of vendors offering engine tunes, at varying price points. I chose BPM but Alex is very highly regarded as well.

Intakes will add a few HP and sound great. I have the Dinan but admit that is as much for the carbon fiber eye candy. There are several other options as well...

Exhaust. Full exhaust will eliminate the cat converters and require a tune but will ad HP. I have an Akra axle back that add a few HP as well but not as much of a gain as the full exhaust.

Spend time searching, lots of good information on this forum as the E9X M3 has been around for quite a while and plenty of folks have been down this path.

Warning, once it starts, I doesn't stop.

Depends on your price point and what gains you are looking for. There are uber many threads if you search.

Great bang for your buck? Test pipes (~20 whp) and catless tune (I have the BPM stage 2 on my E93 and it rocks... especially launch control on my 6MT!) For DCT, there are some great tunes for that as well with night-day difference it seems.

A full catless system will cost you more (but you can find cheaper deals from other owners on the site)...countless threads on this. Price, power, looks and most importantly (it's an amazing sounding engine to start as you know) sound will determine choice. I went with test pipes and an IPE axleback and it just sounds like a complete beast. Absolutely love the sound with valves open at WOT. ESPECIALLY in a vert.

Pulleys are another great for bang for your buck. I read different numbers but ~8-12 whp

Handling wise, you are at a slight disadvantage in a e93. I went with custom built AST coilovers with 550/750 lbs/in swift springs and it was a game changer for a vert that is heavier in the rear. You can't away the weight. But it helps for sure.

Lastly, if price point/warranty concerns/yard a yada don't trouble you too much, I'd go forced induction.
There might be a couple great new options coming out that will be interesting to see, especially the positive displacement supercharger. Can't wait to see the dyno results....

Hope this helps man.

depends on your budget dude...you can spend as little as $300 or as much as $26,000 to get performance done.

Since I assume money is no issue, I would say do the Dinan 4.6L stroker.

It doesn't burn the clutch when you have it engaged and build the revs up to 4,000 rpm??
