Make used car look brand new?

Ok, possible stupid question, but what is the best route to make my used M3 look like new again? It's a 2011 and I would say it's in "fair" condition. Quite a few little rock chips on the front of the hood, paint discolorations inside the doors and trunk, etc. It looks great washed but upon closer look it's not perfect.

I bought it used as a track car from the bmw performance center in SC so I didn't expect it to be perfect, but I have always taken pride in keeping my cars in great condition. I don't want to take it to a regular wash/detailing place that could do the same thing I could. What do you all recommend?

Looking new

I budget a few K to replace things on my new / used cars. Little trim items, worn switches, etc... I replace w/ new.

BTW -- what do you mean about the discoloration in the doors / trunk? Pics?

I guess the best way to explain it would be like stains. It's on the paint on the inside of the doors, almost looks like oil. It doesn't look scratched or anything. I'll try to get some pics up in the morning.

Do you pay the dealership to do the replacements, or find a local bmw shop?

Easiest way (if you don't know how to detail yourself properly) is to find a professional detailer near you, and get their best service done. For instance:

Honestly, if it isn't paintwork, you can do a lot yourself to save some coin on labor costs. Try tischer/mckenna/getbmwparts for your oem replacement parts.

You cannot go wrong with Phil at Detailer's Domain. They actually made my car look better than when I picked it up in Munich...

Thanks! It's a Vorsteiner Type II rear diffuser and Vorsteiner GTS-V front splitter.
