Yes no surprise here. I am tempted to by one but I don't feel comfortable driving a car that looks that exotic.

Those numbers are incredible - including the 1.2g skidpad! I'm still not a fan of the vette - have never really loved the looks, but I do understand the build quality is supposed to have improved with this one significantly (interior quality). The numbers alone, though, wouldn't make me buy it.

The build and quality and the interior a million times better than the C6.

Overall I love the new Z06. The only that still bothers me about it is the interior quality. It still feels very cheap even with the added extras. I sat in the 2014 Dodge Viper and I felt that the interior in that thing far exceeds the interior of the Corvette and is on par with some German cars as well.

Other than that, one doesn't buy a Z06 for the interior quality I guess.

But yeah the new Z06 is pretty much going to destroy everything on the street and track short of a 991 GT3 or Mclaren 12C.

That will be an interesting comparison for sure. The gt3 z28 comparison was pretty close and the z06 is lighter and has lots more hp and pulls more g's than the z28

The article says the gt3 was beating the z28 on the straights which I am sure won't be a problem with the z06
