New Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

One day I will make commercials like this one, but with BMW's.

If you haven't had the pleasure to drive a Carrera GTS (RWD/MT) you owe it to yourself. I spent months looking for a 997 variant and reluctantly came to the conclusion 4 doors made more sense for my current situation.
If the 991 is anything like the previous GTS I will be putting one in my garage when I get my last 2 rugrats out of the backseat.

Damn, I want one -- I wonder if someone will make a supercharger or turbo kit for them... I am sure they could do with a little more power but I like the manual RWD aspect.

Haha man, I was try to build my own Carrera 4 GTS on the Porsche Configurator.

The amount of options and customization offered is crazy.

Heck:
In the interior alone, you can have a mix of Leather, Alcantara, bits of Aluminum and even Carbon Fibre.

Holy smokes

P.S.
Carrera 4 GTS > Carrera 4 S with X51 POWERKIT

Dude, I think I have the skills and talent to make something like this, it's just my budget is extremely small. I have mediocre camera equipment at best right now. I would love to do something epic like this one day. I just need to make more money. Lol!

Agree. I considered three cars - This one, the C2S, and waiting for either the Z06 or AMG GT. But this car once you drive it is so addictive!

The first thing that strikes you is the exhaust symphony. It really defines the driving experience and it's the best I've heard. Then there is the driveability of the car - it's very easy to drive at all speeds. While it is rear wheel drive, the chassis feedback is so strong you can really push this car and keep it under control. It's the most fun car I have driven.

Imo, all the other 3 cars cant hold a candle to the R coupe when it comes to looks. I am looking for a nice DD next year and i am avoiding the R coupe cos all that usable torque and horse power might just make my speciale feel lazy

That's what Vic has. An 458 and a R Coupe as a DD among many others!

And this is why the car is so amazing; my post below in July echoes this. The sound, the handling, the chassis control, and one of the best electronic rear diffs I have ever had the pleasure of owning, makes this car the best bang for the buck in its segment. Its the closest feel, at a launch, to an AWD car Ive owned bar none.

Yes, he has a lovely collection. No way I can afford those cars all at once with the crazy price of cars here. I should prob go test drive the R Couple early next year...will try resisting...
