Weekend trip
Took the M3 out on a weekend jaunt to Austin for the F1 race this weekend. And in spite of all the bad things other people write about it I had absolutely no problems, car rode just fine (standard suspension), and I averaged 26.3 mpg keeping the speed between 80-85 all the way over and back.
F1 racing sucks this year, the green flag drops, the two Mercedes drive off into the sunset, and nobody on the track sees them again until the trophy ceremony. Just kidding, there was some good racing going on back in 6-12th position, but no one comes close to the factory Mercedes cars. |

Drove mine from Houston to Austin for the race too. My only complaint is that the seat made my back hurt after a while. I couldn't seem to find the right position. The wife also said the seats weren't very comfortable on the long trip.
