My daughter in Plano sends me this link but from a local Dallas news outlet and says

"Don't let this be you"

This reminds me of a kid in high school when I was young. He was a couple grades under me. For his 16th birthday...His parents bought him a brand new Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air...black...loaded. For the time it was one of the kings of the road for an American muscle car at least.

Short time after...weeks...maybe a couple months... Doing triple digits on a back road, loses control and crashes with passengers. One girl dies.

Bottom line... Cars... ESP powerful cars... Are WEAPONS. In the hands of inexperienced and immature people... They can be and are lethal.

Just because this 27 year old COULD have one...doesn't mean he SHOULD...clearly. (I'm assuming it was his...but could have been daddy's....?)
