M3 VS M4
im trying to choose between M3 or M4 and more importantly wether i need M suspension or not. moonroof or not?(whats the difference in weight) need some info.
1. which is lighter? 2. do i need M suspension? 3. how much weight does the sunroof/moonroof add? 4. how adjustable is the launch control? can it go down as low as 1k rpm? i launched m4 during a test drive and 1k was plenty im buying this car for drag racing. Mina |

Get GTR for a drag racing.
This is not a drag car. M4 is 20kg lighter. You need m suspension for drag, to use comfort mode for a better grip. moonroof is fort 435i, m3/m4 should have СF roof.

As mentioned above M cars are not for drag racing.
You can a cheaper car with a lot more potential for darg racing.

I've ran 11.5@118mph with my 2010 135i n54. With adjustable launch control, faster shifting transmission, LSD (i presume it has lsd) , and higher mph , i'm expecting to run low 11s and maybe even 10s.
the V8 m3 sucked for drag racing and i understand why im getting the replies i'm getting. This twin turbo m3/m4 i think is going to be perfect for it. One with race gas, chip, tire and tune has already ran 11.18@124mph. Anyway, the car being twice as expensive as my 135i, i have to be allot more carefull in my purchase of it. Right now my main requirements are no sunroof and now M suspension as far as moonroof/sunroof ... there are only 2 m4s in florida without them available for purchase. |

I recommend the M3/M4 because it is amazing car and has the perfect balance between luxury, driving fun, power and looks. But if you are looking for drag racing only your best bang for the money is a GTR

Please god.....I fear that the M3/4 will be subjected to the same type of BS that the Toyota supra community eventually was overrun with. It will really be sad to me if that happens. Let's try to see who can reach 1300hp and drive fast in a straight line, great waste of a car. Doesn't surprise me, nothing but straight roads in florida...this is rampant in Orlando,Miami, and Tampa.
You live in Miami, try homestead raceway or drive to sebring instead |

It doesn't / shouldn't affect how you use your car. I prefer hpde and go to 4-6 events a year, but that doesn't mean that others shouldn't use their cars as they see fit As for image? Who gives a frick. Not like m owners have some sort of golden rep anyway |
