Hey, I own a pair of those, for track days. They go on in the car, and come off in the car, and will never be used for regular street driving.

I have a couple of track decals (spa and nurburgring), and I plan on leaving on at least one of the Euro plates. I know I don't have a 6th sense, but I can still feel the eye rolls of people who see these things. I'm okay with it. I mean, I bought an M3 -- I'm already a tool.

Bahaha, hell yes you are!

The trick is to handle it like you have, buy an Audi if no humor runs in your vanes.

Lets face it guys, there is nothing cool about us, but we have the horses that can get us away fast when the lynch mobs (Prius drivers) approach.

Don't you own an Audi, Lups?

I'unno, you still manage to crack me up on here.

Dude yes I do! But unlike every other Audi owner, I have an excellent excuse.

Hubby told me we need to buy a car. Fast. I told him I will have a car as soon as I find an E92 M3. He told me we need a family car.

"The Q7 is the safest in the class, it is big enough for us all, and it can produce 330 hp's and the kits you can get are..."

What Lupsie heard was: "Yes my love, go hunt yourself some german muscles while I handle the family transportation. You are the best wife anyone can ever have and I will never go near your toys"

After a month I let him buy the Q7, since we really needed a car. I was still optimistic about finding a E92.

Spring came, inline six started to be fab in my books, I ordered one, and the dealership went bitchy.

What he said was: "Before you get a car, we will not buy any furniture to this great house we have"

What I heard was: "Please my love, do take your time, I do enjoy sleeping on the floor just because I had the luck to marry the best woman in the world."

In August what he said was after the second order got busted: "I've had enough. Go buy furniture"

What I heard was: "Honey, take a month. Go and enjoy your freedom for once, please spend as much money as you want if you find a car you actually want."

I got back home, he looked at the car for five seconds, handed me over the insurance info, and told me not to get arrested while driving to furniture shops.

What I heard was: "Oh my love, thank you for never giving me the keys to that yellow baby which looks so good no man should ever get behind the wheel if not a friend of yours. As your spouse, I promise never to scream while you give me a ride, and actually I will never ever ask for one."

6-9 years of marriage makes magic happen to your ears.

Yes, all smart and cost effective mods. All the mods I have put together cost less then the exhaust:

Dinan Stage 1 Tune $2500
From Paint matched reflectors $110
Clear Corner front turn signal bulbs $100
Gloss black kidney grilles $250
M Performance CF rear trunk spoiler
$470
CF DCT console trim and shift knob $400
Painted red OEM calipers $550
Gloss black side grilles $125
Paint matched key hole cover $44
Diamond black Vorsteiner Tips $475
RKP Rear CF diffuser (ordered) $1100
Valve Mod $ FREE

Total: $6169

About the same price as MPE installed with CF tips and even less then Akrapovic.

So I could have either had an MPE or all mods above... Not a tough decision for a louder sound? Valve mod + Vorsteiner black tips looks awesome IMO. I think I made the smart play. If I had unlimited cash flow for mods then I wouldn't care.

You've been ripped off.

Eisenmann 15 bucks,

Gills, grilles, tips for the OEM system, 20 bucks.

Mode Carbon parts: sent to me because the dealership scratched my car.

My new pedals I will order this weekend: Free since old ones got stolen.

So, I've done that much for 35 bucks. Lying to yourself really helps with the mods.

Haha ok, it's hard to tell sarcasm through the web. Did your car really get scratched by the dealer?

The first service was done after I had had him for 48 hours or so, and I sure as hell didn't park next to curbs, let alone get the front too close one. The front had a few scrapes, and I sure as hell didn't do those, no one could see those, and now the lip and other stuff I've done hide them and my shame.

My profile page shows my friend list. Even though we know our shit when it comes to cars, we tend to have a more light approach to the subject. Pad, join us to the light. Being serious in the internet is like peeing in your own serial. Why on earth would anyone want to do that?
