Idle issues with supercharger

I have a ESS 625 kit and a p3cars gauge.

I have had a few instances of a bouncy idle and have even gotten DTC 2B0D code (idling speed control valve monitor bank 1) problem. This has only happened twice and only got the code once.

However

I also have low vacuum at idle (keep in mind im at 4700ft asl) of about 10-13hg And that seems quite low.

I do have the cold start removal option from ESS.

I assumed initially that i have some sort of vacuum leak, but all the throttle bodies are tight that really only leaves the BPV and t tap for the gauge and i cant find a leak.

Any thoughts?

BrewRifle RPM or vacuum?
RPM would be probably around 800 or stock.. i don't think ESS changes that.
Vacuum is 10-13Hg

No thoughts on your problem but my p3 gauge shows 20.4 at idle.

I have a surging/pulsating issue on mine though.

I'm so over my kit. Good luck dude.

Yea I have cold start removed and I idle around 800 rpm, have you asked ESS about this yet? They have pretty good costumer service, sure they would help you figure it out.

Could actually be unrelated to your SC, seen this issue with people stock where idle would bounce all around anytime they came to a stop.

The idle is ok most of the time.. My biggest concern is the low vacuum.. It must be a leak..

The car only has 10k miles so i would like to think its not the idle control valve.

It is also possible that one of the injectors is contaminated from the installation process, seen this happen and was fixed with a new set ESS sent them. They will clean and refurbish your old ones and let you keep the new ones.
The pre cat sensor could potentially cause running characteristics problems if it is faulty in some respect, which could happen if was damaged or got dirty during a new xpipe install etc.
Also could be a bad sparkplug or coil pack

You always see vacuum at 10-13 or just sometimes? i say this because my car will show vacuum at idle at 21.5 ish mostly but sometimes 11-13 after some driving and I come to a stop. I don't have any idle issues, its rock solid and the car performs flawlessly... ACM checked my car for boost / vacuum leaks before the last roll on event i was at before winter.

Ever since i've had the blower and a P3 gauge i've noticed after the car is warm and your driving and then come to a idle, sometimes the vacuum is around 10-13.

I normally keep my P3 gauge on AFR so i don't consistently watch the boost/vacuum.

What AFR's are you seeing? at WOT etc?

14.75 at idle.... around 14-16 normal during driving on and off throttle around town. The s65 really likes to jump around in AFR. At WOT throttle its hard to focus on but around 11.5-12ish i think...

What about when your driving and you let off the gas completely while coasting....does it go to 21-22?

I had a weird vacuum issue at idle that caused my blow off valve to flutter at some points when the ICV would kick in (like with AC on and the steering wheel cranked).

I e-mailed ESS and they had me adjust the T fitting on the ICV hose to create a straight path to the bov rather than requiring the air do a 90 degree bend, it has been a week so far and the issue hasn't occurred again.

Thats the 2nd time today someone has mentioned that T connection. Not that it means a dam thing, but Ive heard about that T connection twice today.

-Random gibberish.

Hey, I got a P3 gauge too. Did you make sure the boost gauge is in the correct setting? If I remember correctly I think it had 2-3 modes and I think I remember seeing my that low when cycling thru them.

I could be totally wrong, but I thought I remember seeing some different modes.

Let me look for the manual link...

As far as i know it's in the correct mode.. I see high "normal" vacuum in deceleration. And it reads boost proper.

Anyone else have low vacuum with SC? Anyone else resolved this by changing the T tap to the BPV?

Mine will surge/pulse on a cold start. Never did this stock at all.

Also it will sometimes hesitate when cold. Never did this before.

OH dude, read the bottom. You might have to calibrate your sender? Check it out, reset it cold with engine off.

It mentions it at the bottom of that 2nd pic i posted.
