Chicago Mega Meet (Pics & Video)

After about a month of anticipation, the Chicago weather allowed for a great day for fellow enthusiasts to come enjoy each other's company. We had a great showing of F8Xs and other M cars, but also a great lineup of everything from an i8 to a F430 scuderia. Please enjoy and thanks to everyone who came out!

First off, the grandfather

F8X (we had Alpine, Mineral White, Sakhir Orange, Mineral Grey, Pyrite Brown, Austin Yellow, Yas Marina)

Other M's and Bimmas

And everything in between (Cayman GTS, F430 Scuderia, Alfa Romeo 4C, AMG)

If there was one city that my heart belongs to, it's Chi-town!

Great pics!... Man how I miss spinning out there. Well just the energy of the city in general. I've been asked from those who have never been to a big city in the U.S., where I'd recommend, and my answer is Chicago. NY is great, but you can't beat the cleanliness, culture, and overall quality people in the Chi. I think many a-Michigander's see Chi as our "more well off" step-city.

but it takes all of us to keep it that way.

I believe this is schmohawk 's car and it is matte silver. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, it is Frozen Silver, the matte/ satin version of Silverstone.

This is one of the nicest colours I've ever seen on an M. Haven't had any real exposure to frozen silver prior to this.

Nope, it's a garage queen, especially in the winter. The paint maintenance isn't too bad, light swirl marks aren't visible, you just need to watch out for rock chips, etc. I have the front end covered in Suntek Matte PPF to protect against that.

Thanks! It looks good in pictures but better in person imo if you get a chance to see one.
