Need opinion on tint job

So I live in that ass backward state of VA which only allows 50% upfront. I already have the rear sunshades, the installer is recommending 35s in the rear and 50 front to stay legal... However with the sunshades wouldn't it look really dark in the rear? Should I just got 50 all around? Forgot to mention I have a MG M3.

I would go to an eye doctor and get a prescription if you can. I have done it in every state I've lived in and never had any problems and I've always rocked 10%. Just tell them you have very light sensitive eyes and it gives you headaches. It's worth a shot if you wana have darker tint!!

50 is almost useless in terms of tint.

A lot of places will tint whatever you want if you just pay them cash so they can keep it off their records. I've done it down in TX on 4 BMWs and never had any issues with police, and I've had my fair number of times being pulled over.

Emissions, state inspections are all for safety, so I'm good on that. Militant police, don't really bother me as I tend to be pretty lawful within my daily lifestyle but do agree they can be a tad overbearing at times for those that believe they know better. Car enthusiast, try country roads or even better yet the track, speaking of we have one of the best in the world, the VIR.

Not to mention based on the U.S. Census Bureau and the data. We rank(or occupy) consistently the top 3 spots in household income year after year since 2006.

So What's not to like? Can't pimp those windows? OK you got me there!

I understand seat belts saves lives... I dont doubt that. but if I dont care about my life, why should they? why am I forced to wear it, what if I have a death wish? I use to ride big boy bikes, no seat belts on those puppies...

I think 50 all around would do nicley, more so that staggered shading that I think looks unbalanced visually from the outside. 50s all around will look more uniformed and do the job on glare that you need down here in rush hour traffic. Just remember "they" can still see you!

Tint, not pimp!

I had 35% all around on my Lexus and never got a ticket for it. I was even stopped twice for no front plate.

Indeed... and because of all those great things... you have insane taxes and a median household income of 90k whereas the median price of housesold is 460k...

Trust me, there is no positives to that area other than job security...

Also, you can get away with 35%

Nothing is allowed on the front windows for NJ.

You know what i say to that? Screw it. I already rock no front plate anyway.

On my X3 I have 20% all around. I will probably go with 35% on my M3. In all honesty, rarely you'll get pulled over JUST for tints (I did have a NY State trooper pull the tint measuring tool on my windows, shit was hilarious)

I usually get pulled over for speeding, and can convince the cop to write me a ticket for tints or no front plate instead. It works more often than not....
