LED License Plate Lights

Orderd these from Bimmian and on their website, the F30 and F80 show using the same part. After receving the part, I noticed the connectors are different and it's for F30 only.

Contacted them and they said we will refund me minus a 20% restocking fee.

It's just laughable really but I will never order from these jackoffs again

Isn't the license plate light already LED? Or did you want a different color?

I wanted a brighter light. I modified it and installed it anyway.

I'm out of this, just be considerate next time. You were definitely referring to me, but water under the bridge.

meh, I buy everything with my platinum card. It specifically has buyers protection. I had an issue once and the company was a bunch of tards. I sent it back with signature guarantee. Once I had a copy of their sig showing they had it in their possession, I called my Card company and disputed the charge (telling them the whole story). They took care of it and my card was fully funded. The tards actually called me a couple weeks later and were quite upset. I guess chargebacks are bad for them. I impolitely suggested they stop defrauding their customers and sell products that match their description.

In General terms and in most states, if someone sells you something, advertised to work with a particular car, and it doesn't, they can't really charge you a restocking fee, no matter what "agreement" you selected to purchase the item. Usually though, you have to get nutty and potentially go to court. Easier just to provide the fact publicly and reduce their sales to your audience.
