NEXON Motors Steering wheel -- anyone?

Did anyone bought or consider buying the nexon motors Carbon Fiber custom steering wheels?

There are several models and they are by far, the best looking wheels out there IMO.

I just placed an order for this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F80-M3-F...77b9b1&vxp=mtr

With silver stitching and silver ring at the 12' clock mark. YES, they are very expensive (also add ~980$ for the core exchange) but they look amazing IMO.

Over the next weeks i will post pictures as i receive 'progress' up dates.

NOTE: I have NO affiliation with Nexon motors.

I agree. They do look nice. I am planning to get the the BMW M Performance Digital steering wheel. If I was considering the standard BMW M Performance steering wheel, without the Digital, I may consider those you're sharing here.

Two key selling points for the BMW M Performance wheel (Digital or not):
1) If purchased during delivery of new BMW you'll get the 4-year/50K mile warranty.
2) Price is also much cheaper too.

Of course the selling points for the NEXON steering wheel (And I KNOW that this is just one person's opinion here... READ: Emotional, not Factual at times...):
1) it's a very nice blend of materials. Less Alcantara means less to worry about maintaining/cleaning in a special way
2) It's certainly a nice design, allowing for that "bottom flat" portion that some people appreciate from the former performance steering wheel
3) Would certainly be more unique (assuming fewer people would pay this much for a wheel).

All that being said, I really like the look of both designs. Please do share pix when you have yours installed.

Personally, i don't like that style of flat bottom wheel. It's a bit of a faux-flat bottom. I was under the impression that a flat bottom was to give more room and make ingres/egress easier.

Here, the diameter from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock is no different than from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock. They just increased the circumference of the wheel and threw in a couple of pseudo-corners.

The overall craftsmanship looks great though

This is a good observation. In order to reuse the other parts of the OEM steering wheel, the design isn't flattened... The bottom corners are just pulled out. This makes the shape look lop-sided. The only functional reason to have a flat bottomed wheel is for easier ingress/egress. Technically the circumference didn't get smaller; it got larger.

I think I'll start with their $750 Christmas tree air freshener, and see how it goes.

They look nice (great touch with the tri-color stripes at the top), and seem like top quality, but I like the OEM one enough that I don't think I'd pay the upchaged. The size, thickness of the OEM wheel is great.

Definitely post some pics when you install it.

Looks good - I've contemplated buying one for my E92 but can't quite wrap my head around the costs.....can't wait to see it installed. There's a LSB M4 from ACM East that has one installed and it looks amazing.

I know - its CRAZY expensive BUT i had pulled the trigger on an M-Performance wheel (alcantara one) and was convinced that that was a MUCH better deal - which it is however, for a little more money (well, nearly triple) you get an unique wheel and customized to your liking.... You only live once - maybe shorter if you dont have money left, but at least i have lived

Question Size

Is the overall diameter the same as stock? I wish my stock wheel was a little smaller.

yes - i believe it is the same, just flattened out the sides - i assume it will *look* smaller due to the visual effect of the flattening but the trim pieces (and hence the diameter) is the same.
