My SS Beast
Just a few pics of my SS F80. She has a CF/Leather interior, 6sp, HK sound. I took delivery at the Welt back in March and it was delivered on June 4 at my house. I have done a few mods since delivery back on June 4. Here is the list so far;
a. 20x9/20x10.5 Stance wheels with Hankook tires 265 front/285 rear. b. M Performance lip/CF splitters. c. 15% tint all around d. Gloss black Grill surround/side markers/M3 rear logo e. Installed color matched reflectors front and rear. f. KW HAS not fully dropped in the front. Want to see if it settles a little bit more before lowering the front. g. Black Exhaust tips CF Rear spoiler will be installed next week. |

I am selecting the Silverstone II exterior. Good choice OP. Enjoy your ride and all the pleasures that come with it.

You are not making the wait for my SS F80 any better. SS has such a nice balance between aggression and being understated. I also might need the front splitter too.

Great experience!!!!All the way around!!!!I had been trying to do this for years but finally did and will be doing it again. The hardest part was waiting for delivery in the states. Word of advise, if you decide to pick up car at PCD South Carolina, make sure purchase order says that because it will not be changed once BMW NA submits paperwork. I had an Issue with my dealer, luckily they were able to sort things out for me. I went to Rome/Florence and Venice..Dropped off car in Frankfurt. Drove the Highways minus coming back from Italy and took Fern Pass back to Frankfurt. Beautiful. Ive been to lazy to post pics....Good luck with everything....

I really like the front splitter on SS. I was looking into for white M3 but on the white M3 it doesn't quite look right to me. On SS it looks real nice. In fact, those pics above have me considering if I should go with SS as my color choice, lol.

Beautiful car, but in all your pictures that show the passenger side, the rear door is darker than the rest of the car.

I haven't measured the clearance but it is lower. The issue with not lowering is that you will have a big gap between wheel/fender, especially in the front. I have a KW HAS installed and did not lower the front all the way due to the front lip. In the rear I also did not lower all the way, but the wheel/offset is aggresive and did not use wheel spacers. In my opinion, and liking, I just think these cars look better when they sit a little closer to ground. I work from home so It is not driven everyday and FL is mostly flat/good roads. I think it will depend on how you use your car and the roads where you live.

That's great that it doesn't show in real life.
