Finally in my garage

After 7 weeks in agony after ED on April 28, my SS M4 vert with full blk leather is in my garage!

Went with my 10yr old son to pick M up from Adrian at BMW So. Atlanta; The VDC paint job is indeed flawless and I can't tell there ever even was damage during shipping.

Clocked 400 miles today from Atlanta to NC and she did great! I do miss the rumbling V8 from my F10 M5 but I will see how it develops (sound wise);

Upon returning home I couldn't leave my two big IND boxes that have been in my hall way for 10 weeks untouched so, i installed some simple mods:

- RKP Rear Diffuser - 5 Min installation
- IND M4 Floor mats - 1 Min installation
- IND Painted Side Grills - 5 Min installation

Tomorrow I will install the gloss black front grill surrounds as well as the IND painted exhaust cans...

Pics below. Sorry for the poor quality.

Thanks! I will sell the Maserati; what you don't see are the other 3 cars outside that are simply taking up space! I am going to consolidate as it got out of hand or at least make space for some other new cars!

It was easy but you need to not worry too much about hurting the car... I don't think you really can... I will send you a pic of the tool I used in a few moments;

Love it! Andrew @ IND advised me well; I was considering the M Performance one but Andrew highlighted that the RKP is a bit more aggressive which I like.

Super easy install.

Attached the tools I used; I looked at the replacements and saw where to un-clip the side grills and inserted the tools.... With a. Little bit of elbow grease it should come loose....

I opted for Silverstone painted side grills rather than black that Mose people do

Thanks, I watched that video a bunch of times, but for the life of me they wouldnt come off.

Amazingly, I went and bought a nylon prybar set from harbor freight and they came off just like in the video.

I feel like the video goes 1 step too far, as you dont really need to remove the black backing plate. I just put the new grills on and they snapped into the existing backing plate.

congrats and awesome M4 vert u have! regarding the exhaust note, get an aftermarket exhaust but for the time being do the open valve method. it does make a big differ and sound much more aggressive
