If you want a DE without 40 cars per group and a ton of open track, this is it.

I'll pose this question to you, to get you thinking about it....what are your expectations/goals? (you can go over this with your instructor)

- curiosity/bucket list
- be a better driver
- learn the limits of your car
- path to competitive driving (time trials/racing)
- .....
- .....

You will be paired with an Instructor. You will have classroom sessions. You will get to meet a bunch of folks with similar interest. You will see some cool cars. You will get to drive your car at speed (no you wont go 10/10ths).

Since this is your first event, go in with an open mind, eagerness to learn and you will do fine. This is not a race, stay safe and have fun. You'll either have a blast and get hooked, or you will find it 'too much' for you. I would say sign up and give it a try, you will leave the event a better safer driver on the street.

I'm prob missing a bunch of stuff here, others can chime in....

Hope to see you out there.

I really appreciate you breaking it down for me. Sorry for being such a track noob but my current suspension setup is B&G springs with 15mm front spacers and 12.5 rear (Turner Motorsports), riding on Bridgestone Potenzas. Will I need to make adjustments on my setup?

You will not need to make adjustments. Check your front brake pad thickness and flush the brake fluid. If your front pads are less than 1/2, put in a new pair but save your old pair. They will be fine for street but make sure you have enough pad to start the weekend. Then just show up and have fun. There will be plenty of experienced folks around to help out if you have questions.
