M4 - Heavy crash in Germany - US passenger

A M4 was involved in a heavy crash in Germany today. The accident took place during a test drive. The driver was a representative from the auto dealer while the passenger was an American citizen.

The driver suffered a medium polytrauma, the passenger a head laceration and a whiplash.

High speed and a wet/slippery road is suspected to be the cause.

Glad to see the passengers made it out alive... car looks like it held up fairly well given that it looks like it flew and flipped quite far.

I have a personal rule, that if it's wet... no hard driving.

Holy crap! I don't know what a medium polytrauma means but it seems they are lucky to be alive. Says something about the crash safety of the vehicle.

No excuse to be driving fast on a wet road with trees all around you. That was asking for trouble. Glad it wasn't fatal though.

On a side note, to all the M4 drivers out there coming from E92 M3s, is the M4 a handful to drive in comparison to the previous gen?

Oughhh !

Reason was speeding , car flew 50 meters through the forest and 60 people were needed to pull the car out of the forest .

The hazards lights were still flashing, so I assumed that they were trying to get to the battery which I assume is in the trunk.
