New here(M4)

Hey guys. I recently (2 days ago ) upgraded my 2013 E92 M3 to 2015 F82 Austin Yellow M4.

I had no plans to upgrade my E92 M3 as I loved the car and it was always my dream car, but since I only lease cars. I accidentally asked for 16,000km per year only, and drove 56,000k in year and half I had it. And it is about 30cents per additional km, so I had to choose between buying the car out or pay for extra Milage. Or get a new car.

So went to the dealer, and talked numbers and drove a couple of M4s around. Wasn't impressed as I didn't really play with it that much, just drove it calmly and looked at it.

Dealer offered almost same exact lease amount as my E92 M3 for brand new M4. So I was shocked . Brand new car , no Milage. Newer technology, faster. For same amount of money. Or the beloved v8 ...

I was sad and happy at the same time... Anyways. I decided to get the m4

Let me tell you how glad I am to have done This, I absolutely love the M4. The technology makes me so happy , so many new fancy things. Much nicer interior. The seats are unreal, the whole car is way bigger which I love.

the engine doesn't roar but the exhaust makes enough noise for everybody. I love it.. And my God is it fast. Specially in high speeds there is no stopping.

I absolutely love this car and the color is beyond awesome, love Austin yellow. Such a good color and it gets soooo much attention,

In one day that I owned her I got more looks than the entire time I had my alpine white m3

Anyways. I'll be lurking around here looking for upgrades as days go by.

My bikes are there too.

WOW. Your sales guy must have loved you. Congrats on the new car and glad it was a pleasant surprise to find out that you truly enjoy the car after all.

Welcome to the dark side. I too was sad when I let go of my E92 M3 but the new M4 sure does help soften the blow. Congrats!

I also traded in my E92 M3 and have a 2014 S100RR. We have the same taste in vehicles.

Sweet! I had 11 two wheeled BMW's before buying my first 4W

Last 2 wheel a K1600GT. What I love about my Yas blue and the same with your Austin yellow is that both colors are exclusive to the M3/4. We won't see ourselves coming and going everyday. Enjoy the new car, I sure as hell am !!!!

Nice job! As a fellow AY driver welcome to the bright side. The F8X is an amazing platform. The car buying process started with me looking at low mileage 2013 M3s. Once I saw the new models though, I knew the older car wasn't going to cut it. The torque, the interior, the step change in tech integration and just the lines of the car itself just sold me.
