ESS VT-1/2 550 Install
Can any of you share your install costs for this system? Been looking for a local shop to perform my install, first quote came back at $2k. Seems really high...

the non-intercooled kit is extremely easy and with the ESS instructions even a below average DIY person could do it themselves in a few hours.
a few local shops around here were $800 range for the intercooled version which takes a few hours more. $500 or less would be my opinion for the 550 kit. while you are there, i recommend changing spark plugs if they have more than 10k miles on them.

Yeah the ESS kit is a breeze to install, especially the non-intercooled version.
