I installed a fumoto drain valve with a nipple which makes oil changes a breeze!
http://fumoto.com.au/ Basically you hook up a hose to the nipple, stick the hose in your empty oil container and open the valve. When the 5L container is near full, close the valve off and empty the last 1L or so into a 2nd container. No mess, no stripped oil pan plugs etc and is great for a DIY'er. |

I remember dealing with the local distributor for fumoto (check their contact details on the website) and he was extremely helpful. shoot him an email stating what year/model/engine type, type of plug required (conventional or nipple) and he will provide a quote. By memory the N54 needed a spacer, so you bolt on the spacer then the drain valve. This was required |

drjekl great idea man. I'm going to follow in your and Marty's footsteps.
Question, where did you get the extension from? From fumoto or oilvalve.com.au? Or is it something you get from bunnings/supercheapauto? I think its all from fumoto/oilvalve.com.au because you summarized then said with shipping. Thanks guys!! |
