Smile Small add to your car... I've used it for years...TRUNK HANDLE

Hey everyone,

I've been more of a lurker, but happily picked up my ride last week...

A tool that I have always used is this TRUNK HANDLE. Simple add to make it easy to close your trunk without touching the outside of the trunk.

Not a set of wheels, but a great MOD

I like closing my trunk the old fashioned way, but thanks for that. I guess some OCD people will be getting this.

That's why there is an interior indent in the truck liner to grab to close, then use the license plate to finishing closing. No touching paint.

Me too. I grab the inner trunk then finish off with the license plate.

OP I applaud your McGuyver mind, but I'd leave this off.

Don't understand this. Going to get dirty like everything else. Plus, just pull the handle inside the trunk hard, and you won't have to "finish" it at all....it'll close in one shot.

Nice lip on top of the lights on the trunk. I use that to close the trunk.

That license plate trim would add more clutter.

I will admit, I've never seen that before.

It's only a matter of time before you shut the trunk on your hand and you get stuck like Aron Ralston - forcing you to cut yourself loose using an ice cream scoop or something.
