Actually it's currently at 525whp which is about 677 at the crank. Apparently awd loss on dynos is about 22.5% so 575whp should be about 740 at the crank.

Here are the dynojet outputs. The one first one with two graphs is the comparison with the FVD piggyback to the Cobb Custom Tune. The other one is the car with boltons only in normal and sport mode and with the FVD piggyback added to the bolt ons in sport plus.

Yes, those are new ByDesign ICs and the Y-Pipe is from IPD.

Any info on specifications for those new radiators? Like how much extra cooling do they provide? Like percentage wise? Also where does that Y-pipe go? Is it part of the cooling system? I really don't know. Those mods seem very interesting to me and I'm just trying to understand them. Do they have a website? Thanks!

Might be an obvious and stupid question but...... Do all these mods invalidate the Porsche warranty??

Holy shite... These are massive gains... So the stated 560 hp in the tts is the crank hp figure so actually we only get about 434 wbhp as standard??

My tts is feeling so slow right now. There's defo something up with it... I neeeed a tune, mods and service!

Do you recommend any particular tune? Flash or piggy back? I would like to remove temporarily when she goes in for a service in case they overwrite it etc...

I'd like the techart ecu tuning box but it's v. Pricey!! Cobb is too tame without exhaust and other mods so I'm not sure what's best to do...

YOu should check out 6speedonline 991 Turbo forum and see the banter about what tune is better. I had my GIAC tune early in the 991 Turbo S cycle (was one of the first since GIAC was local) back in q2 of 2014. Things have changed drastically recently with COBB joining the fold, intercooler upgrades, catless exhaust, headers, plenums, intakes, etc. The 991 Turbo mod market is quite strong. Cobb is a strong stand alone option as I have seen and they "appear" to be producing the faster cars but its really close.

22.5% drivetrain loss for a car with transaxle configuration and rear mounted engine?? I thought it would be 15-20(max)...
well if that's the case then stock M5 should be able to keep up with stock 991 TTS in rolling since they both have the same power to weight ratio!
M5: wheel power = 527 HP (IND dyno) @ 4370 lb ==>> 8.29 lb/hp
991 TTS: wheel power 434 HP @ 3600 lb ===>> 8.29 lb/hp
However 911 has better drag coefficient than M5 ...

Tough to answer, it's dealer specific. My car is paid for and it's my playpen so I don't really care even though I am deep in the warranty. If I blow the engine, I would expect pushback. However, these are not BMW's they are very tight engines with very good reliability records and I have had zero issues thus far and I have put this car through way more hoops than I did the M5. Not knocking the M5 but this car costs more and you get a lot more for what you pay including better reliability and an engine that they have been incrementally improving for 25 years or more.

IPD have a website as does ByDesign Automotive. Here is a link to a guy that had the Y-Pipe and ICs installed already. I will post pics of mine tomorrow. Dyno date is at 1pm and the car is getting buttoned up in the morning and road tested. Then it's off to Cobb for the Stage 3 custom tune and likely over 550whp, hopefully 575 but we shall see.

Yeah its a pretty good forum for Porsche--- other models not so much. Ive been there for almost 12 years now LOL. And IMHO its the best Turbo Porsche forum. Rennlist is better overall Porsche forum though.
