New member of the M club!

Well I feel like a kid on Christmas Day today. Picked up my F82 MW SO M4 this morning, it's me first proper M car I've owned after the M135i second cousin I've come from.

I've managed 78 miles so far on damp, greasy British roads. Driving very gently for now until I get used to it and of course pass the magical 1200 miles.

I would love to give you an articulate account of my thoughts on the car but all I can manage right now is Wwaaaaaaaahhhhhaaayyyyyyyyy. My cheeks hurt from the grin that's been stretching my face for the past 10 hours

Thanks all. I can see many an excuse coming up for a drive over the coming weeks. I've been out three times since getting home from work. I Convinced the mrs that we are better off having a kfc takeaway rather than waiting 45 mins for dinner to cook as I was starving having missed lunch. I then drove to kfc via the "scenic route" and arrived home with my proud offering of fried chicken 50 mins later!

Yes it's a world apart from the M135i I had no idea the gap between them was this great

Only rear side and back windows though, I'd like to tint the fronts side windows slightly to blend better but legally can only tint 30% I think over here on the front windows

Thanks, I'd budgeted for an M5 but after a 250 mile test drive it wasn't for me. As I'd done the man maths already I spent the "change" on the Mperformance parts. I must say I'm really happy with the mpe, sounds epic.
