Dinan intake: is there an AFE filter that fits?

I have a Dinan intake on my E92 M3 but prefer the ease and quality of AFE dry filters to oiled K&N filters. I'm curious if anyone knows whether there is an AFE filter that fits the Dinan intake. The combo would be great, IMO.

You can use the carbon fiber piece from your Dinan intake with the factory connector, thus allowing you to use any aftermarket air filter that is designed for the factory intake.

Thanks for the replies, guys. So are you just slipping the open end of the filter over the inlet end of the Dinan elbow and wedging the filter against the OEM nub in the airbox? Is that enough to get a good seal even without using a worm clamp?

You use the Dinan CF tube with the OE elbow, vice the Dinan elbow, and the filter attaches just like OE.

Your OEM filter adapter (goes between the filter and intake tube) fits in the end of the Dinan CF intake tube - basically swap the Dinan filter adapter with your OEM filter adapter. You can now install any filter on your Dinan intake that's designed to work with the OEM intake/adapter.

Thanks, dudes. Makes perfect sense. I will play with the intake tonight.

Then you lose the larger opening of that adaptor if anyone cares about that. I personally think oem performs better with bmc.
