Project MW STEALTHIFIED!!! (DIY) updated

Picked her up this past Friday and started working on Xpel Stealth the next day.... I always like doing my own mods if possible but this is a pretty big project as it took about 2.5 days.

The mod list upon delivery:
Xpel Stealth(car prep before as well)
Black Grill IND
Color match reflector
Spacers 12/15
Mirror tap V1

Updates: Sorry for crappy picture quality... need to go out and shot it with a good camera... these pictures were taken with my iphone.... still have some things to do to the car like Xpel the roof and seal the stealth.

Gratz Man! Can't wait to see how she turns out. Got my car wrapped too by a buddy of mine with my help... took almost a month to do. Its by far my favorite exterior mod on my car. Stealthed all painted parts... Ultimate on all black trims, headlight, roof and other CF parts... Plus did some black vinyling to add more details. The biggest challenge were the bumpers... Especially the front. You'll have to to do a lot of custom cuts as the Xpel patterns are not very good on those areas. Please post more pixs as you go... Can't wait to see how a stealthed MW looks. Im sure its gonna look sick!!

Here's a pix and thread on how mine turned out: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1197842

wow you did custom cut for the bumpers? ... i just don't have the time and patience or the experience to do that ... i used the xpel pre cut for the whole car except for the hood and roof(that still needs to be done)... the pre cuts do leave some gaps here and there but nothing that bothers me too much (except the door handles ...i may end up taking them off and wrap them separately later)

Not so. After extensive research, an Enzo has never been named Debbie. And Lightning McQueen is not referred to as Queenie...ask my kid.

no offense taken. I just have always heard of cars (and boats, especially) as being females. primarily because men develop strong feelings toward these things, if you know what I mean. if a man loves his car...

but hey, if you insist your car has cojones, walk the talk... http://www.amazon.com/Flesh-Combo-Tr...all+truck+nuts

Yes, the bumper pattern that Xpel provides is not good. Major gaps on the inner wall of middle section. The side walls are totally exposed and doesnt give much protection. My buddy had to customize the pattern to make it work. Its a crazy amount of work to get it right.. We also custom wrapped the handles cuz that was just bugging the shit out of me. I was surprised xpel didnt have a kit for that one. We extended all the patterns do the seams are tucked in... Also debaged so theres no circles around the logo. The thing to keep in mind is dirt gets caught on the edges of the seams over time... So you will see black dirt lines that draw your eyes to the seams... Specially on light colored cars. This is why you want to minimized the exposure of those seams. The precut kits are meant for functionality over aesthetics unfortunately.
