The first aftermarket shocks option for F8x: Bilstein HD

I noticed the Bilstein HD shocks were out while looking through bilstein products for f8x... anyone have any experience with these yet? Although at 260-300 each corner, plus the spring cost, you're reaching coilover prices. Personally I'd rather have the Bilstein sport shocks but I only see HD right now. Either way it's nice to have an aftermarket shock option, and it's about damn time someone made them for the f8x platform. These might be great for those with lowering springs that want a better ride..

Part Numbers:
35-244059 Front left
35-244110 Front right
24-244060 Rears

According to turner motorsport site they are about 20% stiffer than stock.

I had the Eibach Pro System kit on my e82 which was basically pro kit Springs and rebranded bilsteins. The car rode like stock and was matched well.

HD's would be a great OE replacement. Lowered cars should use Sport.

Wow very good to know, this is excellent for those guys with springs whom want better track performance/ride/etc without having to go to fully adjustable coilovers... and 'bilsteins HD's' have always been a quality shock in years past..
