Is there a difference in ride quality between M3 and M4?
I currently own an e92. The comfort setting is perfect for for my daily commute as well as longer trips. I understand the new F80 series has a stiffer ride and have read previous posts on this topic.
However, is there any difference in the ride quality between the F80 sedan and the F82 coupe? Or are they identical in ride quality regardless of adaptive suspension setting? Does the sedan offer a more comfortable ride for daily activities? Thanks! |

Rumor has it there is a slight difference at 10/10ths ...
Due to the weight distribution difference of the sedan vs coupe in aero, center of gravity.. blah blah blah.. but not on a track, no difference. There is a difference in standard vs adaptive suspension.. and the obvious practicality of the 2 vs 4dr. |

The 5th passenger has a noticeably better ride in the F80.

I think choosing 18s vs 19s and adaptive suspension (comfort mode) vs. passive (apparently set to approximate something between sport and sport+ on adaptive suspension) would make a bigger difference than F82 vs F80

Everything tends to indicate that any difference between M3 and M4 is imperceptible from the driver's seat
