Indianapolis Battery Registering

Hi All,

I need to swap my battery in the M. Anyone in Indy or Fishers have the ability to register it to the car?

Reggies quoted me $437 for a battery and register. Register is just $57. Waiting on Dreyer but I bet it will be up there.

I plan to swap it myself at this point or have sears do it.

Thanks.

If you want cheaper yet, you can buy the USB cable for $20 on eBay and do it for free using the factory software or the free BMW logger program. You can do way more with the software compared to the phone apps.

Or you could drive up to MKE and I'll do it for free. Not sure if gas is that cheap yet

Agreed with above, use bmwlogger. It's a free program and all you need is a k+dcan cable, takes a few minutes to register the new battery
