Do I need to get an alignment after wheel change ?
Hi folks.
I'll be going from the stock F82 M4 19" wheel & tire Front : 19"x9J (ET29) (255/35/R19 F8x specific PSS) Rear : 19"x10J (ET40) (275/35/R19 F8x specific PSS) to Front : 19"x9.5J (ET22) (255/35/R19 generic PSS) Rear : 19"x10.5J (ET35) (275/35/R19 generic PSS). Getting an alignment is not a problem. But enquiring minds want to know. Since offset and rim width are changed, do I need to get an alignment, in theory? |

I meant to make a thread in Wheels | Tires forum. Making this thread here was unintentional.

No, your suspension components weren't changed, so nothing to be aligned. Maybe heard it's better to get an alignment with new tires when / if you need an alignment? That's true.
