f10 vs my r35 @shift sector

heres a video of a fbo f10 vs my fbo r35 from shift sector, not sure if the member is here, he mentioned that he did everything he possibly can do without going into the build engine catagory, and that what i had , only thing i added after that was ccm rotors which make a big difference by losing 55 pounds off rotating mass and also ported and polished intake manifold, so should be a bit faster now. this is a half mile racing event at the airport strips that shift sector rents out twice a year. he said he had over 800 crank hp, and the conservative dyno was around 636 at the wheels on mustang. i had 600 hp and 624 torque at the wheels ,on the lowest reading mustang dyno with those mods, and 713 hp, 724 on a high reading dynojet with same mods. so it was going to be an interesting race, i gave him the jump to see if i would real him in, since the supercharged m3s were to easy that day to beat , this m5 was the closest race i had with any M that day. enjoy.

Doesn't look like 800hp.... we should try our cars at the next shift-s3ctor!

Are you FBO with E85?

thats what he claimed and said he dynoed it on the mustang dyno with higher numbers that i had, im looking to get on the next spring shift sector if it doesnt get sold out in one min like it usually does, but il def try to get in there , if you can make it id gladly run you , dont care what you have. yes im on fbo e85. trap speed was 165 normally there in the half mile wether its a true half mile i dont know but , sometimes got up to 170 if i launched before the cones instead of roll at 40mph past the cones.

You've gotta get a youtube account bro. Its literally cake to upload a file onto youtube and post a public link. And if you get enough views or it goes viral $$$$$.

My buddy got a check for 500 bucks doing a burnout in his Maro lol

And guys who quote "CRANK" numbers are never to be trusted with knowing racing or what they're buying.

Sir you have the baddest M5 in the land but generally when we say full bolt on that would not include different turbo's. Thats the next category up.

If his build wasn't public I would say he was sandbagging you but its not, I guess some can make a silly argument that technically the motor wasn't open so its a bolt on car. But we all know what the general accepted standard for a fbo car is.

By the way I thought that M5 hung around pretty well against your car with that set up. I wanna run a gtr than is fbo on 93 not E85 and see how I stack up

lol , ya he did have more hp than me so i was expecting a close race already, but the weight difference is deffinetly not on the m5s side. running fbo on 91 that we have here in CA will be around 50 hp difference give or take, also depends on the tune on the car, there are many companies out there and i have a more aggresive tune that some tuners wouldnt ever do or dont know how to safely.

lol well thanks for letting me know, i was actually thinking of doing the same mod but that would put me in a different catagory as just fbo, i was trying to break into the 9s with stock motor and turbo setup , so close i should be able to just need to get on the track with a private track rental so they dont trip after my first pass of going past 135 mph like they did last time on a regular test and tune day, so i stopped going.

that is true, the gtr is just a menace! Did you see that thread in the m3/m4 section that there are several members claiming to run neck and neck stock to stock with gtrs!! one guy is claiming it with a manual m4 lol

lol no i didnt go to that section. there are to many people claiming something i got tired of debates and say show me your slip il show u mine and call it a day. theres just no way a stock m4 would beat a stock gtr , they probably tuned or something, or maybe their car is a freak from the factory with 500 hp and they are racing a old stock gtr with 485 hp lol could be many variations. the facts are facts though, they should know better what a 2014 gtr can do vs their 14 m4
