Very nice but why all the 911 (911, 911S, 911 4S, 911 Turbo,911 Turbo S, 911 GTS, 911 4GTS, 911R) look the same? GT3 and GT3RS have wing so look different ... just saying

Don't forget... the 911 Targa and all their iterations. I'm sure I forgot others too.

Only 300 will come to the US, and most 918 owners will get first dibs. Actually it may free up some RS's which is what I rather have. The goodness the current GT3 may be the last 9000k rpm Porsche is a big deal, or who knows it could explode.

How much of a difference is it between 9,000 RPM versus 8,800 RPM? Can owners actually perceive it?

I would say not much, but it's really a mechanical marvel for a 3liter motor to achieve such a thing. The sound is really incredible, and could be the fist and last produced.

I heard today that all 991 911 R's that will be produced are all spoken for already. I'm sure we'll see some for a sale next year though.
The R is definitely on the want list but Porsche just announced they are going to work on the GT2. That one will be nuts!

I got 300 hundred coming to the states of 991 being produced. 918 owners ha e first dips because of the loyalty package. A buddy of mine has the R coming RS, and the new turbo crazy fun. My guess with limited supply they will go for 200k over MSRP .......just give me an RS and I'm good. Porsche called me for one that was 299k, and I said call me when the hype dies down I will wait it out. The R will be a true collector with less than a 1000 copies.

Out looking right now. Need something a little better for kid hauling. Tried the S8 plus, the RS7, and the S6. Ended up liking the S6. Weird....

250k over sticker my god dude. When he said that to you was it over text, in person, on the phone? And what was your reaction. I've never heard of anything like this, and I've been in the Car bizz my whole life.

Ferraris have super high revving engines. Their maint schedule is ridiculous and expensive, and they're not as reliable as a Porsche or a BMW. As for this 911R. It's cool and all, but you can't touch one at MSRP unless you bought a 918 recently. Otherwise, plan to pay $350-400k for one. A car guy here waited 3yrs for a GT3 RS, P-Car guys are crazy...
