Just picked up a 964 911
Figured I show this off a little. Bought it off an executive that I used to work with. He FB friended me 2 weeks ago and I half jokingly asked him when he would sell it to me. 2 weeks later it proved to be the most expensive Facebook friend request I've ever had!
Sorry for the crappy pic, having upload issues. Will get more up after the rain passes. 1993 Carerra 4 Targa. Amazon Green. 59k miles. |

Thanks. It's a very nice example which is a blessing and a curse as I would like to have one for the track but honestly this one is too nice to rip apart. Maybe I'll lower it in the future, but that's it. Looking at it as an investment more than a daily driver.

Well, I haven't put it through the paces yet. It needs a tune-up, valve adjustment and new brakes. However, as you may imagine, it's a totally different experience the M3. It's a lot softer but I do have KWV3 on the M. It's probably about like a stock M in terms of stiffness, I don't remember stock anymore. And obviously it's not as fast, but it's just a different animal altogether. What I love is the smell, the open air feel without being a cabriolet, and the overall size being so tiny. And it's a 5 speed vs DCT. I love DCT too though, dont get me wrong. But I'm starting to really dig the older stuff, not sure if it's because I'm getting old or what!
I'll do a better write up with pics after its tuned up. |

Thanks, yes, it's a 5 speed.
The car has been in the shop the past week and a half or so. Had to order parts, one didn't come in, Yada Yada. So anyway, no pics for another few days. |
