TC Klein Racing Double Adjustable Coilover Kit

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted as I've been enjoying my motorcycle quite a bit, but there's been a new development in relation to my F80. Today, I finally popped on a coilover kit for my car. Many months ago I ruined the wonderful handling of my M by getting a spring kit. Sure it lowered the car and made the overall stance look better, but it made the back end jittery and I definitely noticed a detriment in the handling. I then decided this would be the last mod I made to a car that made it perform worse just for the sake of cosmetics.

Now, I can finally say that I am rectifying my mistake and I have learned.

I called the guys at SupremePower this morning and put an order in for the parts. It should go through tomorrow morning and I will update you all as soon as the set arrives. Install will take place as soon as we've got the parts.

Here's a list of what is included in the kit, as well as a few words from TC Klein:

"(1) 8711-1125LSPTC - TC Kline Racing / Koni Left front strut
(1) 8711-1125RSPTC - TC Kline Racing / Koni Right front strut
(2) TCKFSXXX - Pair of front springs in your choice of spring rate
(2) E9xM3StrutSleeve - Front Strut Sleeve to fit Strut to M3
(2) 8242-1017SPTC - TC Kline Racing / Koni rear shock
(2) TCKRSXXX.250.10 - Pair of rear springs in your choice of spring rate
(1) TCKE90RSA - Rear ride height adjusters
(1) TCKF8xCamPlate - TC Kline Racing Camber/Caster plates
(2) Koni Spanner Wrenchs
(2) Koni rebound adjuster knobs

Proven on the street and track, this system is unmatched by any other system on the market. TC Kline’s unique Smart Shock technology mated with our VVS alloy springs (see springs) make this ride height adjustable kit the most versatile available. Incorporating separate external compression and rebound adjusters, the shocks can be dialed from street comfort to a full race setup in minutes.

These features combined with our complete selection of VVS alloy spring rates make this kit the uncompromising choice for both street comfort and track performance. The Smart Design System is perfect for driving school enthusiasts, autocrossers, club racers, and serious pro racers alike."

I'm very excited to feel the difference in handling. I was going to get some go fast parts (exhaust, DPs, and a tune) but I decided that returning the chassis to its M awesomeness was more important. Also, if I bumped up the power, the rear end would be even more of a problem through bumpy turns, so fixing the suspension was more important to me.

Updates to come!!

Finally some one on the forum is getting this kit. I'm excited to read about the review once it's installed and again when you get everything dialed in.

Now, the product jargon is pretty over reaching.

"...this system is unmatched by any other system on the market."

There are several systems in the market that can definitely match it in every way.

"...this ride height adjustable kit the most versatile available."

Pretty much the same way you raise/lower ride height on every coilover kit.

I'm looking forward to reviewing it as well! I am no automotive journalist but I will do my best to point out noticeable differences.

Haha agreed! Their verbiage is definitely hyperbole.

cough cough, I have been running the kit for a while now and I updated the review in the other thread.

O/P you will definitely like the suspension and how it performs on road. I haven't got chance to track my car yet, but I doubt they will dissapoint.

I doubt they will, their primary focus has always been that, track.

Between TC, his dealer and us no less than 20 kits have been sold. Just not many reviews here.
