Rear diff shudder

When reversing (in any setting) it feels like there is a bit of either slippage from the clutches or diff, like a locked diff when turning. Any one else experience this? Is this normal?

My car had the same issue. I talked to Service adviser and then service manager and even BMWNA. Following several shop foremen an expert from BMWNA was assigned to test drive my car and decided to replace the clutch. After the clutch replacement the issue was fixed but came back after couple months. I figure out it only happened for couple second especially when the differential oil is cold and I believe this shuddering is coming from differential or axles.

Thanks for the info. I am going to have them take a look at it before i put the Dinan tune on it.
