RB-CCM Brake Kit for F8X M3/M4

This is a project in our development, the question is if you have 19" wheels to fit these CCM kits that we build as our standard CCM brake kit using Corvette ZR1 CCM discs (394x36 front and 380x34 rear) similar to those we have just released for Porsche's 911 from the latest 991 GT3, 997, 996 and 993.

These RB-CCM brake kits are designed to use the latest CCM brake technology with proper size of rotors to offer Porsche owners with option to replace those highly expensive yet venerable pccb.

http://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-g...r-991-gt3.html

Benefit of RB CCM Kit.
  • Affordable pricing to own.
  • Help you make a quick decision when ordering your GT3 - Just tell dealer thanks but "No pccb"
  • Transform your standard brake or existing pccb to the latest CCM set up as Corvette ZR1 for the flexibility of disc and pad swap.
  • Low replacement cost on consumables (discs and pads), you can just purchase from GM dealers or online stores (Amazon or eBay) direct for cheaper price with more compound choice from other aftermarket.
  • Kit is built for DIY installation - Including SS brake exclusively developed by RB that eliminates OE rigid lines, brake pads also come with wear sensor connector.
  • Easy on going maintenance - RB's open top calipers allow you to change the pad w/o having to detach the caliper. Brake fluid change and bleeding will also save you frustration on our flexible lines.
  • Receive professional advice and service from RB*, before and after your purchase including our stock on CCM discs and pads for emergency replacement.

While some racing teams would prefer 18" wheels which will not fit 394mm rotor kit, and 380mm rotor kits may be considered.

RB also offers iron brake replacement for CCB, street pads for CCM rotors or complete caliper brake kits.

Your one stop shop for all your M3/M4 brake need.

Don't know what your CP build is, but this RB-CCM brake kit will be the most cost effective and popular CCM brake kit ever being made available.

Just think how many cars GM produced on Corvette C7 ZR1 and Camaro Z28 every year (vs. Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche etc.) that come with CCM as standard, so their pricing and availability on consumable (pad and rotor replacement) must be very affordable (from GM dealers or online retailers like eBay or Amazon), compare to dealing with BMW or Porsche dealers (for the Porsche kits we offer).

Not only these latest ZR1 CCM rotors are much more durable (on track) but they are cheap enough that you don't even have to consider replacing to iron rotors or have them refurbished. This is based on our experience with Corvette community as very few are replacing CCM to our iron replacement rotors which RB is the only brake company offers track duty iron two piece replacement rotors.

How do these CCM rotors differ than the standard BMW Ccb rotors?
Are these the same as the CCM-R rotors, that are less prone to chipping and oxidation/ better suited to track duty vs oem Ccb?

There is a good collection of CCM rotor information here:

I have the OEM BMW CCB brakes. If I wanted to replace all my CCB rotors with iron rotors and the associated race pads (no calipers needed), your site tells me it will cost a little over $4,900. Is that a joke? Please tell me that is a joke. There is no way on planet freaking earth that 4 IRON rotors cost over $1000 each.

We apologize for the confusion, a stripped down (rotors only) price is updated.

With the same CCM (394/380) rotors, we will also offer iron replacement rotors allowing you to swap between the two rotor set up like most Porsche owners do.

One of the prime advantages of this RB-CCM kit is it puts you into the largest pool of CCM brake community - Corvette ZR1 & CamaroSS, so that you can either shown off to your friends, or race hard with them. Having access to resourceful aftermarket brake offers w/o having to deal with BMW dealers that can cost you arms or legs.

Brake kits are designed, developed and serviced by RacingBrake - The most experienced CCM brake company in the performance industry.

Are there any plans to develop this kit around the OEM gold 6-piston/4-piston calipers?

Not possible due to the OE rear 4pot gold caliper can not take 32mm thickness rotors. (only 28mm)

Current GM's MSRP is ~$2400 (front & rear) so your cost shall be below $2000 depending on where and when of your purchase.

Note after you purchase the complete rotors from GM, disassemble them and assemble the disc to RB hats - which is a straight forward assembly, because we make the hardware more friendly for DIY and less prone to damage the mounting hole than OE. We'll also offer this service for those who don't feel comfortable in doing themselves.

Once you install these RB-CCM brake kits, you will be equipping a brake system built from the latest CCM brake technology, yet pooling with the largest CCM consumer market with GM's Corvette ZR1 in rotor and pads for low cost replacement from GM and aftermarket resourceful suppliers.

RacingBrake is highly experienced brake company in CCM brake development, and we build the same kits for Porsche 911 (993/996/997/991), GTR and others (Audi, Ferrari, Mercedes, Viper etc.) Lot of components are shared so you can expect price and service on consumables are very fair and affordable.

Read this most recent review by an experienced Viper driver after 5 track days on his ACR-Extreme with CCM brakes and learn how it compares to the traditional iron brake.
Prepare yourselves- this post may go against conventional wisdom and rub you the wrong way

The hardest decision when ordering my ACR was whether to go with steel or carbon ceramic brakes, because of the widely varying opinions on the subject. After three years of tracking my 2013 GTS, I had pretty much outgrown the 4-piston steel brakes....

RB-CCM brake kits were shipped to those cars:
  • Audi RS5
  • Camaro ZL1
  • Mercedes GT S
  • Nissan GT-R
  • Porsche 911
  • Tesla S
  • Viper ACR G5

BMW ???

We have different options to fit your budget; for example you can start with just the front CCB kit w/our matching rear iron kit that costs less than Bremo or AP brake kits, and progressed to the complete car kit.

Brake kits includes RB's super heavy duty 6 pot front and 4 pot rear calipers which you can use either GT-R or ZR1 pads, they are standard FMSI pads and popular track pads with lots of choice in compound at low price.

The true saving is the running and replacement cost down the road.

Carbon rotor ring replacement is very affordable (less than 1/2 of BMW), you can buy them from GM dealers or online stores just like ZR1 and Z28 owners

Take advantage of these RB-CCM brake kits and take control of your own choice in replacement and enjoy the newest brake technology.

PM us for the special low promotional price (for the first 3 orders) you will be surprised how affordable they are!
