Service that provides Traffice Updates, Internet, Weather

Correct me if I am wrong but the data that I get on my I-drive that controls traffic updates, internet, and weather is provided by BMW right? On my older model I got the traffic/weather stuff thru Sirius/XM (I think or maybe that was my Chevy).

I need to renewal my sat radio service but do not want to pay for this extra package if I am getting it thru someone else.

Nope it's not connected to your sat radio acct.

It's a separate BMW assist/connected drive service.
