N54 with 2 N55 turbos

Is it possible to mount 2 OEM N55 turbos onto an N54 platform? I know one could just buy larger turbos... But that's not the point, I just want to know if having twin twin-scroll turbos is possible. Or would it be too complicated? More of a theoretical question, less about cost and top end power.

Possible, sure, but completely unrealistic. You'd have to chop the turbofolds off and do full-on custom fabrication. It would cost many thousands on top of the hardware.

Six exhaust ports and four turbine inlets. Six doesn't go into four.
You should just get a larger twin scroll turbo.

Yea there would be a bank of three cylinders that feed into the dual inlet. So not ideal but still could work...

I'm wondering if the turbo wouldn't be to large for the airflow of just 3 cylinders... On the other hand maybe twin twin-scrolls could make a lot of boost throughout the power band

Nah bro, twin-turbocharged AND supercharged.

Actually, that would be super cool.

4 turbos clearly, gotta keep things even to balance out that 50/50 weight distribution!

If there is enough room, it might be possible to have two secondary turbos that feed into a large primary turbo.

Look into compound turbocharging.

A twin-scroll turbo per cylinder!

Those turbos are pretty limited, even if you did make it work the gains most likely wont even compare to any of the turbo upgrades out there.
