Garage List
I don't know why someone would want to get rid of a part like this. best bet is to go and buy a new one. it's a cheap part I am sure.

It's not cheap, LOL. New one is $500 each side, it comes with the whole assembly and you can't just buy the cover.

OP: If you're doing RAMAIR mod and don't want to cut your box, just buy BMS intakes then use RAMAIR filters. RAMAIR filters are dry foam and sounds great since the base is aluminum with built in velocity stacks.

I cut mine, because if I want to restore it to stock for trade in I use use the coupling that comes with the RAMAIR kit to re-attach the box.

I love hearing by intakes now, freaking loud.

Yes Ramair going on.

New OEM items cheap... lol... they are NOT. Lids are not avaliable seprately and I was quoted $1300 for the complete air box assemblies from Trisher and shipping on top would be another $400+ as they would go Germany-USA-Australia! Even more expensive direct from BMW Oz.

Reason I want the lids / air boxes is so I can modify further i.e cut the front off and cut so the ramair sits in the box to look semi OEM plus I have the originals for resale.

If I can't find some I will have to spend some more on a Gruppe M copies and fit the Ramair filters.

You can get BMS pipes with RAMAIR filters. I would love to see that.
