Need tiny sample of Goldbraun (Gold Brown) leather - can you help?

Need some help here...

I'm working with leatherique to mix up dye for the goldbraun interior, this is for an interior color change in my imola red E38, but would also serve the purpose of leatherique adding this color to their palette for anyone in the future needing dye.

Problem is, BMW is of no help in obtaining a sample. Does anyone here happen to have a sample swatch of this color? Or, would anyone be willing to cut a 1" square from under their seat if I paid them?

This would be greatly appreciated... a lot of work is going into this car with an S62/6spd drivetrain and more, interior is the last piece of the puzzle I need to sort out. Thanks for any help!

My local dealer has a wall with leather swatches - you could call around your area dealers and see if there are any spares or if you might be able to borrow one briefly. I imagine chances for this are not high unless you have a good relationship with a CA, but it's probably at least more likely than getting someone to slice up their interior.

Certainly, unfortunately the dealership local to me didn't have a sample of this color, BMW NA and BMW UK were also of no help with any ideas.

Latest idea is to purchase the cheapest interior piece I can find wrapped in leather from the individual line. This may be the ticket... crossing fingers!

Try getting in contact with bmw individual. Tell them youre interested in doing a custom build and ask for a sample. Ive heard of others being offered samples when trying to decide on their build.

Definitely reach out to BMW Individual, they were a solid source of info when I was going through options. Worst case, maybe try the Spartanburg factory?
