2016 BMW M5 Individual
Frozen Black Paintwork Individual Silverstone/Black Bi-Color Interior Contrast Stitching (lotus white/black thread) Piano Black Trim 343M 20'' Wheels (Forged/Matte Black) Individual Black Chrome Exterior Parts Black Alcantara Headliner Competition Package Carbon Ceramic Brakes Fully loaded with exception of rear seat ent Akrapovic Exhaust (carbon tips) Paint Matched Reflectors Alcantara B-Pillar Mod (taken from my '13 M5; not shown in photos) Took delivery a little over a month ago. Quite a different car from it's 2013 counterpart.. especially handling/steering (steering was upgraded plus it has the CP package). As everyone probably knows, you don't notice much of a difference in power since the increase is all at the very top of the RPM range. The new iDrive controller is great. I like the smaller controller better, but the gesture capability does make up for the larger wheel. This time around I detailed the paint with Dr. B matte products and sealant. Opti-Coat Glass on the windows/windshield/mirrors (great product). I used to use Nanolex matte products on my last frozen paint M, they have since launched a refreshed line so I will give that a try when it comes to the US market to see which is better. Thinking of pairing my Akra with AMS 300 cell catted DP's. Has anyone done this yet? If so, how do you like it (any rattle? burble?) I have heard of waste gate rattling on the manual waste gate M5 models. Maybe this won't be the case with the new electronic waste gates. Attached a few photos. They are not that great, took them rather quickly on a phone camera.

Is this the first frozen black in this forum? I know my frozen bronze is not the first.

Wait - didnt you have a frozen black one before too? That one had Amaro Brown interior if I recall. This one is way nicer and goes better with the frozen black.

Interior looks fantastic. Reminds me of the contrasting color option for the E39. Enjoy ** I've got AMS catted w/MPE and they sounds beautiful together. Rattle=NO Burble=YES
