Airport Sunday breakfast meetups?

Hey guys and gals,

Just joined this forum and I'm also a new proud owner of a 2016 Mineral Gray M4.

I was just wondering, would any of you be interested in a regular (maybe once a month) Sunday breakfast at the El Monte Airport? I'm very much interested in meeting fellow M4 owners.

Also, as an added incentive, I'm a Flight Instructor at one of the flight school at the airport. If any of you want to get in a cockpit of a small airplane, I can make that happen

Kudos for being an instructor, but unfortunately I cannot meet up as I own an M3 not an M4, and you only extended your invitation to M4s ;(

Hahaha sorry for busting your chops man, I'm just being too literal. But, I'd be down to meet up. And grats on the car and color man, my last car was MG.

Congrats on the new car!

I'd be up to make the drive from up here in the Valley; maybe quarterly?

Yeah... something quarterly would be awesome...

Does this forum have a polling capability to see which dates work best for people?

I'm thinking like the first (or some Sunday) Sunday of which ever month we decide to meet.

And thanks to all the well wishers.... It's definitely an awesome car... It's everything I've dreamt of, and more hahaha

I've heard of this event, but never really had a motivation to check it out. Considering the change in my current whip status, I might just check it out this time around.

Depending how my schedule shakes out next weekend, I might either fly in or drive in

I have a student at 11:00 am. Looks like it starts pretty early. Around 7:00A?

If the weather is good enough we can fly in, walk around for an hour, then fly back.

My son would probably be excited to sit in a cockpit, so we're in!

How early are you thinking of holding the meet(s)?

Breakfast/Brunch time frame... between 8 and 11.

If I can ever figure out how to setup a polling widget on this forum I can start getting inputs on what day and time works for the majority.

oh and you don't have to wait till the meet to have your son sit in the cockpit. Come by on the weekends at the flight school. More than happy to show you guys around... And if my schedule works out, I can even take you guys up for a short flight or something.

You need to start a New Thread. Towards the bottom of the dialogue box when creating the New Thread is a check-box for polling along with how many choices/options you want in the poll. I do NOT think you can add a poll to an existing thread (but I may be wrong).

Wait we can sit in the cockpit too? Does this apply for adults? When I was a kid, I wanted to be a pilot. Did we finalize a time and day yet? I missed everything above, the only thing that caught my attention are: sit in the cockpit, models, and cocaine.
