M1 / M2 Settings - What works for you?
I'm sure this has been posted on more than 1 occasion but I would like it if some other members would share their M1 / M2 Settings.
M1 is my daily driving setup and is usually Sport, Sport, Comfort, Drivelogic 2 and mostly in S mode. M2 is for my moments of more "spirited" driving and is Sport+, Sport+, Sport and Drivelogic 3 again typically in S mode. I don't track the car. While everyone's driving style and roads are different, I'm interested in learning what works for others. I'm located in Miami where the roads are great and the drivers are not ... Thanks! |

M2 is my "clinch your buttcheeks" setup with Sport+, Sport+, Sport, D3, MDM. |

M1 = Sport plus throttle, Sport steering, Sport suspension and full traction on. plus normal HUD for nav etc
M2 = Sport plus throttle, Sport steering and suspension (plus is just to stiff). MDM and HUD in M mode Adjust gear changes per situation and road types. |

I generally use M1 and M2 to switch between manual and auto modes..all settings set on S+ MDM off.

M2 = Sport Throttle, Sport Suspension, Sport Steering, Shift 2 bars, full traction on.
M1 = Sport+ Throttle, Sport+ Suspension, Sport Steering, Shift 2, MDM traction. M2 is where I leave it until tires and engine are warmed up. I switch it to M1 mostly when I am by myself and driving in a spirited manner (which is most of the time). I'm in the camp that thinks M1 should be the more aggressive setting versus M2. |

Doesn't mater- just remember which logic you used the car will ask you if you ment that selection for the traction off or MDM mode by asking for a double press of the M button assigned.

Does it matter? Generally I just use the shifter to move into manual, but this was about your steering wheel settings. Personally find the M2 button a waste of time...

Wow! Theres so much difference between the modes plus the standard settings on start up are pretty horrible to drive... slow, ponderous, large throttle inputs, tries to get to 7th gear at 40 mph and reluctant to drop gears unless you stand on the throttle... the M settings make such a difference!

I understand, but please try the engine in sport plus and the shift mode in D3 and it becomes a very interesting car. Just try it once.
