Prep for track day tomorrow

Hey guys. So I'm heading to Bedford autodrome tomorrow. Never done a track day in my own car before although loads of red letter days etc etc.

Regarding car prep what's the usual routine? Should tyre pressures be the same as in the manual or adapted for track?

I'm picking up a litre of shell helix on route incase I need a top up but am I forgetting anything obvious?

And no I'm not putting track day tyres on, upgrading my brake fluid. Changing pads or any of that stuff. I'm going to bed in an hour or so and waking up at 6 and heading straight there so yes this is a kind of pointless post but wondered if there is anything simple I should know. It's going to be raining so not sure how many beans will be given but I'll give it a go.
Video footage will be loaded when I've had a chance to edit out my bloopers and any evidence of being overtaken by lesser machinery.

Good man

- gloves. Haven't got any
- bought helmet today. Started off in halfords ended up in motorcycle shop who ripped my pants down and I fell for the pitch and spent way too much money lol. Looks cool though
- 2 batteries charged and big power pack charged to top up and cable (plus spare blank memory card
- drinks. Yes good point will empty petrol station fridge in morning
- no pen can't afford one after helmet shopping
- wallet adds weight, paper cash only

Took two child seats out just now, emptied glove box took most of the water out of windscreen washer bottle. Ok ok I joke. All excess weight = gone.

My mate is bringing his V10 M5. We have scores to settle.

Excellent, sounds like a blast, and we will all beat work Monday.

Try to share some vids and pics!

Fancy a PalmerSport day, there's a thread so where, looking at October?

Awesome day. M4 and M5 were very closely matched on that track. I was making ground around the twisty bits and he closed the gap slightly by the end of the straight as you'd expect.

Then it poured down with rain all afternoon and HMS M5 was stuffed. My mate said aqua planing a tank at 150 isn't fun lol.
Great day, a few pics attached video later when I've set it all up

Yeah that's the one. I started in halfords looking at their cheap one but didn't fit my massive head so got stung at bike shop. Could have got a cheaper one but liked the look of the Rossi winter one.

To be honest I had no idea about helmets it was Sunday and I needed one for Monday so bought whatever they had. Mine was £160. Fits really well and looks cool. I'm happy with that.
