All newly registered vehicles in Germany must be fully electric by 2030
Part of me knew this was coming and another part of me doesn't want to believe it. This is also why I have already said before that the next generation of M cars will be the last to have internal combustion engines. I just wonder what companies like Porsche are gonna do with models like the GT3. I do have hope that Lamborghini will still be building new V10's in the year 2030 though.

I think its doable. I do think the Germans will still make petrol powered cars for export. I personally think this is great - it will set a high pace of innovation.
I look at the current set of new BMWs coming out and I see very little innovation. The G10 has more-or-less the same power plant as the F01. They've reached a plateau. This will accelerate the next plateau.
