The ///M3 respons sucked , and he cannot drive the car .
A 640D , actually a havy pig can do it in what ? 4 sec. Ohhh C'mon guys !

Haha both of our reactions were crap as we were waiting too long for the lights to change.
I only had 3 runs all against the m3 and the diesel won them all. But it was his first time there but this ran was his best run out of the three.

The torque on those engines are no joke. Not surprising. A 335i has more base torque than a base M3.

My 640d is running around 550lbs ft with a average remap.
Even though it's quite a heavy car it still does 0-60 in 4.4 secs 0-100 in ten.
But I honestly thought my friend in his m3 would just pass me over the line but it didn't happen which surprised me.

But that doesn't affect the time as reaction time isn't added so it may not look good but it don't matter really

E93 is carrying 400 lbs more, I think.

The newer automatic and DCT type cars are faster. You have to be a really good and on the ball manual driver to beat them in most encounters. Often the auto driver just puts his foot down or flicks a paddle, whereas the manual driver has to do a lot more to change gears to be in the best rpm.

Cheers buddy yeah I was happy considering the weight of me and the car lol and the smelly run flat tyres. Great day out and I'm in no doubt both cars aren't suited to drag racing on a slippery drag strip.
Mine is a gt car that's amazing for everyday use and crossing continents and the m3 is a great track tool that is more focused and sounds epic

What I was more impressed with was beating a 2014 760i v12 twin turbo drag times.
Until he nearly emptied his tank and finally squeezed a 12.9 after many runs but was too late to beat me on the fastest in class as he was out there all day trying to win our group but I won fastest in my class somehow lol
